LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY
Lifetime limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
Lifetime limited warranty on the mechanism.
Lifetime limited warranty on the finish.
Lifetime limited warranty on mechanical replacement parts.
JL Baril guarantees the ceramic disk cartridge to be free of manufacturing defects, providing it was used in a normal domestic situation.
The conditions of the limited lifetime warranty may only be applied by the original buyer and during the life of the product.
JL Baril provides a lifetime limited warranty on all of the finishes, provided that JL Baril's basic rules of use and maintenance are followed.
Upon evaluation, JL Baril will provide the part or product for replacement at no additional cost.
This limited lifetime warranty is applicable to the original buyer only and is not transferable.
CONDITIONS :
The warranty does not cover installation or labor costs:
manpower, handling, shipping costs, any/all damages caused entirely or in part by the actual damaged part or product, its installation, removal, repair, re-installation, or replacement of the product.
The owner-user shall provide an appropriate access for the installation or replacement of the product.
The warranty is not valid in the following cases:
if the damages to the faucet result from misuse, bad handling, or negligence by the owner-user or any other persons.
If any repairs are effectuated or any replacement parts other than the original JL Baril parts are used. Since JL Baril products are conceived for residential use only, the guarantee will be void if a JL Baril product is used in a commercial, institutional or industrial premise (Unless an authorization was previously emitted by an authorized JL Baril employee).
Any product damaged by excessive dirt, atmospheric conditions, hard water, cleaners or detergent products and/or rough or abrasive materials.
All damages caused entirely or in part by an installation error, product abuse, improper use, misuse, negligence, bad maintenance, abrasive products, corrosives or accidents, from a professional or any other persons.
All products used for other purposes than what they were intended for.
LIMITS OF THE WARRANTY:
Decorative finishes for our faucets and accessories of any color other than chrome, are guaranteed against manufacturing and/or fabrication defects for a period of five (5) years.
The handshower, pull-out handshower and the flex hoses for the showers as well as the kitchen faucets are guaranteed for a period of one (1) year.
The kitchen faucet cartridges as well as the chrome finish are covered by a limited lifetime warranty.
Any other part will be guaranteed against any manufacturing defects for a period of five (5) years.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The owner-user agrees and accepts responsibility for the performance and quality of the parts or the products. If any of these parts or products happen to be defective after purchase, the owner-user shall be solely responsible for its removal, reinstallation, and the costs related for these operations.
The manufacturer, the distributor, the retailer or any other type of intermediary shall be held responsible for any costs or fees related to repairs or reinstallation of these products.
JL Baril is not responsible for any damages caused by water leakage.
JL Baril's responsibility is limited to the value of the product paid by the owner-user; any other expense related to damages shall be the sole responsibility of the owner-user.
JL Baril is only responsible for the repair or the replacement of defective products providing the request for repair or replacement is made within the time limits of the warranty.
THIS IS THE ONLY WARRANTY OFFERED BY JL BARIL AND IT IS NOT TRANSFERABLE.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
JL Baril recommends that you use the services of a professional plumber for any installation or repair work.
JL Baril recommends that you provide an access for future repairs since the owner-user is responsible for any/all damages.
JL Baril products are made with high-quality materials and manufactured with the highest standard of excellence. In order to preserve their appearance, JL Baril recommends that you clean the products with a non-abrasive, mild liquid soap, warm water and a soft cloth.
NEVER USE ABRASIVE PRODUCTS, CHEMICALS, CORROSIVES THAT ARE VERY STRONG ON IN POWDER FORM, INCLUDING TOOTHPASTE, DETERGENTS, SCOURING PRODUCTS, WINDOW CLEANERS AND DISINFECTANTS.
The warranties provided here in are extended solely to the owner-user for products sold by JL Baril or their network after September 1, 2006.
